We have had a wonderful crop of strawberries this year. we have used our pickings to make wine, jam, sorbet, icecream, cakes and flapjacks and still had plenty to give away to neighbours.
We have also picked over 20kg of gooseberries of which half will be used for wine making and the remainder frozen for making gooseberry streusels.
